Why My Inspiring and Feminist Canvas Art Is More Than Just Decoration
For many people, canvas art is simply decoration purchased to make a room look more beautiful. My canvases are much more than that. They not only enhance a space but also convey meaningful messages about life and feminist themes.
Through my art, I explore powerful themes such as safety, connection, trust, love and vitality. The feminist aspect of my work is also reflected in my volunteer projects, where I paint murals in women’s shelters. My art is often inspired by philosophy, real-life experiences and strong women.
My paintings express the beautiful sides of life and represent what we long for. They are intended to inspire people and encourage them to reflect.

I love clouds because they appear unreachable, ever-changing and almost magical. Their many different shapes give them a surreal quality and allow them to express a wide range of emotions:

- New beginnings, change and transformation
- The end of one day and the beginning of another
- Sadness, heaviness and melancholy
- Anger, strength and destruction
I am fascinated by the colours of sunrise and sunset. Clouds can be beautiful and peaceful, but they can also appear dark and threatening. It is precisely these contrasts that make them so special to me.
