Self Love

This painting is about self-love, but more importantly, it’s about your relationship with yourself.

How do you treat yourself when no one is watching?

Do you speak to yourself with kindnes, or with criticism?

We often hear the word “acceptance,” but sometimes it feels heavy, like we’re supposed to accept something broken. What if we looked at it differently?

What if it’s not about accepting, but about respecting yourself.

Because you are not a burden. You are something valuable. And you deserve respect.

Respect can look simple, taking care of your body, going outside, giving yourself rest.

But it also means protecting your mind.

Not chasing validation from people who don’t truly see you.

Choosing what actually feels right to you.

Maybe you’ve also had moments where you did not feel seen.

And self-love can start very small. Just with a single thought or a kind sentence you say to yourself.

With this painting I want to remind and inspire:

Growth begins the moment you start treating yourself differently.

That’s why in this painting the flowers are growing from her dress,

because self-love creates growth.
