In this painting, I wanted to capture the essence of freedom. Not only the freedom to dress as one chooses, but the much deeper freedom to exist without fear, without judgment, without shame.
True freedom means living without the constant burden of fear and shame.
This painting is about the universal right of every person to live without the chains of oppression, control, and judgment. It is about reclaiming the simple, powerful right to be free.
